1. Scope

This policy applies to the Tekste Shqip iOS application published for access to lyrics, artist pages, albums, rankings, editorial sections, community-linked pages, and related mobile content.

2. Information We Collect

The app may process the following categories of information:

• Device-generated installation identifier created by the app and stored locally on the device.
• App usage requests needed to load content from Tekste Shqip services, such as requested screen, page, language, and related content parameters.
• Content cached locally on your device to improve performance and offline behavior.
• Information you choose to submit when opening contact, support, community, or other web-based pages through the app.
• Basic technical request data that may be processed by our servers, such as IP address, user agent, request time, and server logs.
• Advertising-related data processed by Google AdMob, such as device or advertising identifiers, approximate location inferred from IP address, ad interactions, app interactions, diagnostic data, and performance data.

The iOS app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, call logs, SMS, or device photos/media libraries as part of its normal operation.

3. How We Use Information

• To load and display Tekste Shqip content inside the app.
• To distinguish app installations for service integrity, abuse prevention, and technical troubleshooting.
• To improve speed and reliability through local caching.
• To support language-aware content delivery.
• To provide support, respond to bug reports, and process contact requests when you choose to initiate them.
• To maintain service security, diagnose failures, and protect the platform from misuse.

4. Local Device Storage

The app stores some data locally on your device, including a generated install ID, cached API responses, and temporary web content used to improve loading speed and resilience. This data may remain on your device until it expires, is replaced, or is cleared by the app or your device settings.

5. WebView, Community Pages, and External Links

Some app sections open Tekste Shqip web pages or community-linked pages inside an in-app WebView. Other links may open in your device browser or another external app. When you use those pages, additional website data such as cookies, login sessions, browser storage, or form submissions may be handled by the corresponding website.

External sites and linked services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Tekste Shqip is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or apps once you leave the core app experience.

6. Third-Party Services and Content Delivery

The app may request data or media from third-party or external infrastructure, including:

• Tekste Shqip web and API infrastructure used to deliver app content.
• Open-Meteo, when weather information is requested for supported geo-related content.
• YouTube image endpoints when video thumbnails are displayed.
• Google AdMob and Google Mobile Ads / User Messaging Platform services, which are used to display ads, measure ad performance, manage privacy choices, prevent abuse, and improve ad delivery.

These providers may receive technical request information needed to respond to the request, such as IP address, request headers, and device/browser characteristics exposed by the network connection.

7. Advertising and Privacy Choices

The app uses Google AdMob to display advertising. Google Mobile Ads and related advertising partners may collect or receive information such as IP address, device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, ad interactions, diagnostic data, and performance data. This information may be used to deliver ads, limit abuse, measure ad performance, improve ad services, and provide analytics related to advertising.

Where required, the app uses Google User Messaging Platform to request and manage advertising consent choices. On iOS, the app may also show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing the advertising identifier for personalized advertising or ad measurement. You can manage applicable ad privacy choices from the app settings when a privacy options entry point is required, and you can manage tracking permission in iOS Settings.

8. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, including with hosting, infrastructure, delivery components, security providers, and third-party content services used by the app. We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our rights, or to protect users, the service, or the public.

9. Data Retention

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, operational logging, abuse prevention, support handling, legal compliance, and security review. Local cache and device-stored identifiers may remain on your device until cleared or removed.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled through the app. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children’s Privacy

The app is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the service, please contact us so we can review and address the issue.

12. Your Choices

• You may stop using the app at any time.
• You may clear app storage or uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from your device.
• You may choose not to open community, contact, or external web pages through the app.
• You may manage ad privacy choices in the app settings when Google User Messaging Platform requires a privacy options entry point.
• You may manage Apple App Tracking Transparency permission in iOS Settings.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The latest version will be posted at this page with an updated effective date.
